These two beautiful "one-offs" are the prototypes of the "blackguard" tribute guitars we will make on order in 2021.
Built to exact early 50s specs, these guitars come out months of research and study of finish thickness, consistency, and feeling, to achieve the most accurate "blackguard" experience with a brand new guitar.
We will build only very few of these, and exclusively from January to December 2021. This is not a "quantity" project, nor a competition with the Historical American brand which we love. This is a tribute project with the intention to deliver the most faithful - both tonally and visually - recreation of some unique guitars built in the golden era of American Guitars.
This particular example has been made with a super thin lacquer, matched in colors and specifications to the original, from the unique body and neck contours to the incredible "U" shaped maple neck.
The pickups have been recreated by Luthier Luigi Valenti to exact '52 specs, directly measured from the original.
