The inspiration for this One-Off, gorgeous instrument was born when a original example with this particular finish came in for a restoration project, that was masterfully handled by our luthier Romano Burini, so we decided to make a unique '54 tribute fitted in "white burst" and Golden parts.
Master Luthier Matteo Rufini fell in love with this finish and did a superb job here.
In the first picture here you see our tribute next to the original Fender from 1957.
We will build only very few of these, and exclusively from January to December 2020. This is not a "quantity" project, nor a competition with the Historical American brand which we love. This is a tribute project with the intention to deliver the most faithful - both tonally and visually - recreation of some unique guitars built in the golden era of American Guitars.
This particular example has been made with a super thin lacquer, matched in colors and specifications to the original, from the unique body and neck "rounded" contours to the incredible flamed and figured maple neck.
The pickups have been recreated by Luthier Luigi Valenti to exact '54 specs, directly measured from the original.
