This one off guitar has been inspired by two original '65 which we found here in Italy, one in fiesta red over coral tint, and the other with a incredibly rare maple cap neck.
So this ‘65 tribute features a maple cap flamed maple neck, alder body, fiesta red thin skin finish over coral and desert sand and yellow stain, thin skin finish on neck and relic feel
We will build only very few of these, and exclusively from January to December 2021. This is not a "quantity" project, nor a competition with the Historical American brand which we love. This is a tribute project with the intention to deliver the most faithful - both tonally and visually - recreation of some unique guitars built in the golden era of American Guitars.
This particular example has been made with a super thin lacquer, matched in colors and specifications to the original, from the unique body and neck contours to the incredible "U" shaped maple neck.
The pickups have been recreated by Luthier Luigi Valenti to exact vintage specs, directly measured from the original.
