If you try this guitar it will very likely be love at first sight. This one has the perfect weight, has a fantastic grain and sounds glorious. Master Luthier Romano Burini did an awesome job with it.
We will build only very few of these, and exclusively from January to December 2020. This is not a "quantity" project, nor a competition with the Historical American brand which we love. This is a tribute project with the intention to deliver the most faithful - both tonally and visually - recreation of some unique guitars built in the golden era of American Guitars.
This particular example has been made with a super light Swamp Ash one piece figured body, a one piece all rosewood neck with the exact dimensions of our original 1954 stratocaster, and a thin lacquer finish in vintage “Blonde” burst, like they used to do in the early days.
This is a “one off” example, totally custom ordered and we used only the very best materials available. The pickups have been custom made by our friend Luthier Joel Wilkens, JW Restoration, who did a particular Alnico II ’54 set, to balance the impressive loud tone of the instrument.
This is one of the finest guitars we’ve ever offered, and we’re particularly proud of this example.
