1954 Fender Stratocaster Blonde - Serial: 0018

This is a June 1954 Fender Stratocaster, that a dear customer sent for a proper Restoration. The guitar has been stripped to a “natural” look, but the original “blonde” finish was still present in the cavities and over the original body date markings.

The neck, which still retains the factory decals, fret and finish, has been modified for other tuners, so our Luthier Matteo Rufini performed a incredible restore of the holes with proper wood dowels, without bothering the original finish. He also rebuilt a chip of wood from the end of the fingerboard, with a masterful wood insert.

The body, which is a seldom seen 3 pieces one, has been stripped to a “natural” look, so our Luthier Romano Burini brought it back to its original “blonde” color with correct procedure and materials.

The original pickups, which have been poorly rewound, have been perfectly restored, with proper NOS wire, by our Luthier Luigi Valenti, who did a exceptional job and they now sound as good as ever!

Aside from replacement plastic parts, both the pickguard and tremolo cover, and our exact short skirt and covers kit replacement, the guitar remains original in all its parts.

The guitar is a feather, 3,2 Kg only, and after a final professional setup it’s now ready for a entire new life of music.

We’ve been very proud of this opportunity, and we are really thankful to our Customer for the trust.
