1946 Fender "Model 26 Deluxe" amp - Serial: 463

Life is amazing ! The first ever designed amp by Leo Fender were nicknamed by collectors as "woody amps", because of the unique "natural" finish chosen for the (very nicely crafted) solid wooden cabinets, and you usually see them in the classic red front grill cloth. But Fender offered this very early amps with a nice variety of colors, red, blue and gold.
This very first series, built in very few units between 1946 and 1948, featured three models, from smaller to bigger, the "Princeton"; the "Deluxe - Model 26" and the elusive, and rarely seen "Pro". Here we have a crazy rare Model 26 in amazing all original conditions except for a couple of electrolitics inside, and a unique gold front grill cloth! These amps in these conditions are becoming really impossible to find nowadays and I will treasure this for sure! thanks fo my friend Terry Foster for the suggestions.
