This is a very rare “FSR” (Factory Special Run) Vintage Stratocaster w/rosewood fret board in Sonic Blue finish manufactured 11/2001.
This guitar is part of a Limited Edition of 250 only pieces available worldwide, commissioned by Arbiter/ Fender Europe, with special color in a “Thin Skin” Sonic Blue nitrocellulose lacquer finish. It was designed to celebrate the infamous “Beatles Strats” that George Harrison and John Lennon used to own, and it came with the beautiful “Beatles Gear” book by Andy Babiuk.
These guitars shared the same specs and details of the amazing “Time Machine” guitars from the custom shop, and for this special run in particular they used superb Birdseye, figured maple necks, just like George Harrison’s original guitar had.
