PORTFOLIO - 1960's

1967 Fender Stratocaster Sunburst - Serial: 204879

This is a super cool and rare one.

As any Fender lover knows, the factory in 1967 used to work on the assembly line using the huge leftover inventory produced in 1966. For this very simple reason "1967" stamped guitars are incredibly rare, and usually they bear dates from very last months of 1967. 1967 made guitars also had unique features, like transition logos, "F tuners", no yellow stained bodies, first clear "poly" primers over unbleached alder bodies, and "target" burst with whitish yellow sunburst.

This particular guitar is one of those very rare ones, it's super lightweight and totally original (with black bottoms pickups) and was bought by its current owner from the original owner, a well known musician in Argentina, Francisco Rivero.

Comes with Black tolex case, ashtray bridge cover and tremolo arm.

Yes, its' identical to one of Jimi Hendrix ones! This is the perfect addition to any serious Fender Collection!
