This beautiful guitar comes from one of the lowest production years for the Stratocaster model, 1967, and it was born at the fender factory with a Sonic blue finish over a “Mustang" blue undercoat. At some point the original owner sanded the Sonic Blue to reveal the darker blue underneath. A few years ago the guitar body finish has been professionally restored by our ToneTeam Luthier Davide Castellaro to the original color scheme, while it remains original in neck pocket and cavities, with the factory markings.
This is a great sounding guitar that has now achieved a beautiful patina from a few years of playing.
