1967 Fender Telecaster Ice Blue Metallic - 170476

This Amazing Fender Telecaster features an incredibly rare "Ice Blue Metallic" finish, sprayed in 1967 at the Fender Factory, following the "new" paint scheme used that year, without the yellow stain and other peculiar 1967 finish procedure appointments visible in neck pocket. The finish shows normal yellowing on the clear coat.

This guitar is basically an original example, aside from a professional refret, performed in 2019 by master luthier Romano Burini, and from the pots, which are original fender parts but later, dating to 1969. There's also some evidence of "shielding" paint sprayed in the electronic cavity.

This particular guitar was owned by one of Italian's best guitarist, mr. Mario Schilirò, and has been played by Zucchero (Adelmo) Fornaciari, during the famous Charity Concert "Pavarotti and Friends for the Children of Liberia" in 1998, performing "Va Pensiero" with Luciano Pavarotti.
