This beautiful guitar has been bought by its second owner from the original owner more than 20 years ago, and resided basically all its life in the same town, in the nearby of us here in Italy.
Only modification ever done to it was a humbucker route attempt in bridge pickup position, crudely done but never completed. Under the guard infact a old, professional, wood repair can be seen, in that portion of the body, that goes between the bridge pickup cavity and the 6 bridge screws. The base of the cavities remained original, and the work was performed by the late Roberto Pistolesi, master luthier.
Apart from this, we've a great sounding guitar with all late '65 specs, with dark Brasilian rosewood fingerboard, and all its original parts, with 3 great sounding pickups and pots that date to late 1965 as well and which sound absolutely amazing.
The guitar's finish is in in good conditions and the instrument have "medium" style frets, in fantastic shape.
The guitar comes with the original tremolo arm and later Fender case from the 70s.
