This is a beautiful guitar, with birdseye maple neck, nicely grained rosewood fingerboard and a factory custom color finish sonic blue over solid Black.
While they did happen in the early days, “double colors” were quite a common procedure in late 1966 and 1967.
As it’s quite evident, the original owner didn’t like the greened clear coat, since it’s been almost entirely buffed out. It remains otherwise fully original.
