1966 Fender Stratocaster - Serial: 144919

This great sounding guitar was part of a large batch of Fender Stratocaster in Fiesta red, ordered by Italian distributor at the time, Casale Bauer, in 1965. A entire batch of 144xxx serials of Fiesta red early 66 Strats made it to italy. This one was purchased in early 70s still "brand new" by its original owner, who sold it in 2019. in 1978 he painted the guitar white with a spray can, without removing the parts. In 2013 He had the guitar restored to its pristine glory by Luthier Davide "Utopia" Castellaro, who removed the white paint and shot a light coat of lacquer to be able to buff and polish it, protecting the original color coat.

This is a great sounding guitar, with its original gray bottom pickups, and has a very nice story to tell!
