This is a very rare custom build from the Fender factory in 1966 by Dale Law.
Dale Law worked at Fender for approximately 15 years running the paint department. You can see his initials on the neck D.L. in red. In late 1966 he built this custom 1966 Jaguar / 1964 Duo sonic body for his son.
So what we have is a 1966 Jaguar neck with block inlays and a 1966 neck plate. Attached to a 1963/64 Duo-Sonic body and early Fender pickups and pots also.
The color has a Pearl/Gold Sparkle base, covered by a see-through green clear lacquer. I like to call this "Candy Sparkle Green".
What is very nice about this guitar is that this is a 100% Fender Factory finish and build, not done outside the factory as in the 50s and early 60s happened.
