This stunning guitar is a special example from late 1965, with a December neck that clearly appear to be one of the very first “large” headstock ever made! The actual headstock shape is not as big as ’66 but not as small as ’65. The typical Yellowed clear coat gives to this one a unique, fantastic look. The guitar features “medium jumbo” style frets as seen throughout 1965 and sounds amazing! This is the perfect addition to any serious Fender Collection!
