This amazing guitar was built in the very early days of 1965, and features a lot of the desired pre-CBS features like Brasilian Rosewood fingerboard, "hand wound" pickups and "green" celluloid pickguard. Plus it has a amazing factory original custom color "Dakota red" which is really a seldom seen one.
This guitar has been played a lot and was painted black over the finish by the original owner, who painted black the pickguard as well.
The black overspray has been now removed revealing the amazing original finish underneath.
The guitar has been professionally refretted by master luthier Romano Burini (original frets are in the case)
Comes complete with original "For Fender" case made in Italy back then by Polverini Bros. , tremolo cover and tremolo arm.
This is the perfect addition to any serious collection and it's a killer playing one as well.
