PORTFOLIO - 1960's

1964 Fender Stratocaster Fiesta Red - Serial: L27283

This is a nice “player grade” guitar, that comes from its original owner, that sadly did a few modifications in the 80s, such as:

- jaguar controls cut into the wood and guard

- when he decided to come back to the original configuration he had the switches holes filled and refinished the guitar (born fiesta red from the factory) in White

- he also slimmed down the back of the neck (it’s really slim in first 1-5 frets) and a luthier had to restore the mess he did with a almost invisible maple insert.

The good: the guitar sounds amazing, has 3 originals “black bottoms” pickups, original decal and headstock finish, still the original frets and bone nut.

This is a great project since the guitar was born fiesta red at the factory and now the finish has been beautifully restored by our Master Luthier Romano Burini.
