PORTFOLIO - 1960's

1964 Fender Stratocaster Fiesta Red Korina Body - Serial: L36569

This is the 3rd guitar we’ve found from 1964, which falls in the L3xxxx serial batch, that features a body made out of Korina wood and a Fiesta Red finish.

This is not a case, and all the three guitars share same production dates and also were sent by Fender for the Export Market, two of them were found in Italy and one in South Africa.

This one has been played a lot and at some point the original Fiesta Red finish has been stripped, although it was still evident in all the cavities.

The current owner asked to our ToneTeam Master Luthier Matteo Rufini to restore the original Fiesta Red finish appearance to the body, while leaving the beautiful one piece Korina grain visible.

Besides the body finish restoration work the instrument remains complete of all its original parts.

The tone of these is absolutely unique and mesmerizing, and will appeal both players and collectors.

This is a great opportunity to own one of the rarest Fender ever made in the 60s at half of the price tag.
