This guitar had had quite a life, but it’s a gorgeous example of what a good Pre CBS played strat should look like.
This Candy Apple Red (over Inca Silver), late 1964 Strat has a nice gently flamed maple neck and a grained Rosewood fingerboard.
Aside from a professional refret and a small route repair under the guard, this guitar remains original in every other part.
The finish shows plenty of amazing natural weather checking, and the playwear is absolutely fantastic.
