This gorgeous late 1964 Fender Stratocaster features all its original parts, and sports a custom color “black” finish, that appears to have been made over the original sunburst finish, sometime in late 1969 early 1974.
The black finish conforms exactly to the Fender thicker “poly” finish from that era, and given the quality of the work it looks like this guitar has been sent back to Fender for the finish work.
Apart from that the guitar had a great C shaped neck, original pickups, parts and hardware, and sounds exceptionally fine.
This is the perfect guitar to channel that “Jimi at Monterey” look and vibe!
