This beautiful looking Strat it’s a feather weight example, and was made in early 1963. It still retains many of the desired 1962 features, like earlier styled pickguard, very nice contoured body, large spacing 12th fret clay dots markers.
Here’s the details:
- Original, lightweight body with no routes or modifications except a professional “Fiesta Red” lacquer refinish.
- Original parts, bridge, saddles, jack cup, Kluson tuners, original neck plate, 1962 period correct stackpole pots, original pickguard with marched plastic parts, pickup covers, knobs, switch tip.
- Original neck with beautiful flamed maple, Brazilian Rosewood board and good original frets, may use a refret sooner or later, neck still has some of the original lacquer on the back of the headstock and on the neck end, while it has been professionally Lacquer refinished in the main playing area of the neck and front of the head. The decals are professional silk screened replacements. Truss rod works as intended, neck is straight.
- The pickups are original but they have been professionally rewound.
This player grade strat has had quite a life, but will surely make a player happy!
