This beautiful guitar has been made between late 1959 and early 1960, and features a gorgeous thick slab Rosewood fingerboard over a flamed maple neck.
Aside from a professional refret, modern wiring and a wax potted bridge pickup (not rewound), still has all the original parts.
We found evidence of a wood repair to the side of the neck ends, where the original owner etched his name and his Social Security Number with a knife.
The Current owner, who purchased this instrument more than 25 years ago, had those inscriptions onto the wood, which were very poorly done, repaired by a professional luthier just after he got the guitar.
There’s no damage nor cracks to the neck, no issues to the 4 bolts or the truss rod, but of course that thing is reflected in the asking price.
