Slab boards. Introduced in late 1958 with Jazzmaster, mid 1959 for Strats, lasted until early 1962. Rough, rude, woody and "extreme", they're special and not for everyone. This vibey, all original example is super light, killer sounding and has a fantastic 59/60 "faded red" sunburst, with amazing dark brown edges.
Comes with original 1962 brown tolex case with orange interior plush, "ashtray" bridge cover and tremolo arm.
This very guitar is featured in the "Werner's list".
