PORTFOLIO - 1960's

1960 Fender Stratocaster Blonde - Serial 55147

This is a true “one of a kind guitar”. It was found from the original owner in U.S., who basically never played this one that much, but had the brilliant idea at some point to remove the finish from the body, without taking the guitar apart. So we found the original paint, unmolested, in the neck pocket, under the whole pickguard perimeter, and in all the others, unexposed, parts. The guitar still had all the pristine factory solder joints.

The previous owner of the instrument had it restored to the original Blonde shade (exact colour was taken from the original paint found on the guitar) by master Davide “Utopia” Castellaro a few years ago, and the finish was given a slightly aged look to it.

This guitar sounds phenomenal and it’s the perfect addition to any Fender Collection.
